Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Pound the chicken to an even ¾-inch thickness.
  3. Pat the chicken completely dry with paper towels.
  4. Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
  5. Rub the chicken with olive oil and coat with the seasoning.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the center reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then slice against the grain.

Notes

  • Use a thermometer for juicy results every time.
  • Thicker breasts may need 5 more minutes.
  • Leftovers keep 3 to 4 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
